Schwertasek at This Art Fair

Esther Schwertasek has been selected as one of a handful of artists to stand at the Beurs van Berlage during  This Art Fair. This annual event, formerly known as 'Art in Redlight', offers talented (known and unknown) artists a platform to show and sell their art. This year the event will be from the 30th of December until the 3rd of January 2016. Schwertasek will showcase some of her latest paintings. Video 'And The Sky Remains The Same'

The project 'And The Sky Remains The Same',  a collaboration between Serge Steijn and Esther Schwertasek, was exhibited in November 2014 in Loods 6, Amsterdam. A short film has now been made of this intriguing and captivating project, featuring many of Esthers works and the context in which they were made. You can watch it here.

'And The Sky Remains The Same' at Loods 6, Amsterdam

During the weekend of 7, 8 and 9 November 2014, Schwertasek exhibited her ESMA work under the title 'And The Sky Remains The Same', working together with photographer Serge Steijn. The exhibition was held in one of the most fitting buildings in Amsterdam, Loods 6. To the left you can see a slideshow of this exhibition, the works and their setting.
